TeamEitel.com gets a face lift in 2014!

With the #TeamEitel annual party right around the corner and a lack of attention on the website for the last year I decided to release what I hope to be (close to) the final t-shirt design for 2014 as the splash home page image! This year I wanted the emphasis to be on those who make TeamEitel what it is today, along with a special tribute to those that TeamEitel supporters have and are relentlessly fighting for. Too often we forget to give back and I wanted to make a point to let everyone know how important you have been to not just TeamEitel but Light the Night and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your support is a blessing.

In regular styling you will see the names of all of the #TeamEitel supporters over the years – in caps and bold styling you will see the names of those who have specifically been touched with cancer.

Thank you all for the tremendous and continued support over the years! I wish you all the best in our efforts in finding a cure for cancer! I can’t wait to see all of you at the party on Aug 16th. More details to follow soon! Check out www.TeamEitel.com to see the image live or click below and find your name!

A Happy #TeamEitel Thanksgiving Miracle

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I get to notify every one of the total raised from the #TeamEitel fundraiser Saturday at @Granfalloons. But before I share the exciting news I have to say something? After totaling all of the donations I was absolutely stunned and was left feeling extremely humbled by the generosity of all of those who were in attendance Saturday night. I tend to expect a great turnout of friends and family and I always look forward to meeting and sharing stories with the new faces that come to learn what #TeamEitel is about. The consistently growing generosity the group continues to demonstrate and the overall good social experiences that we are presented with and take advantage of is truly a blessing. With all of that said, I like to think I put things into perspective and understand the importance of what events and circumstance truly has on their surroundings. I?m aware of the important holidays just around the corner and I know that it can be the priority of many to save what extra cash they have to buy presents for family and friends during the holidays. And while I support that decision entirely I?m floored by the selfless generosity that everyone showed in donating their hard earned money to help support families and individuals, that we may never meet personally, in an effort to make their dream for just one more Thanksgiving or Christmas come true and our shared dream of curing cancer. A quote that comes to mind is ?You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.? ?Malcolm S. Forbes. I cannot be more thankful for my extended #TeamEitel family, what started out as 5, has grown into quite the community with amazing character.

With that said, from the bottom of my heart and with all of my soul I thank you all; as your selfless, loving and charitable donations totaling $1334 will be donated directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of #TeamEitel and will be tracked as part of the 2014 Light the Night Campaign! By donating, just once or many times, a lot or a little, you?ve become a part of the #TeamEitel family. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, because what others have contributed and done before us, similar to we are doing now, is the very reason I was able to spend a few more Thanksgivings and Christmases with my dad after his first diagnosis and I cannot express in words how thankful I am for that.

Thank you, and be safe!

Falloons – #TeamEitel Fundraiser Success!

We wanted to thank the staff and management of Falloons for hosting a #TeamEitel event this past Saturday November 23rd. The majority of us showed up during the quiet dinner crowd, which happened to be a wonderful time and all of the sudden like out of no where at around 9PM the place got packed, as the night went on it got even more packed. The bartenders were slammed, but that’s exactly what I intended a #TeamEitel event to provide. We sold out of the #TeamEitel Keep Calm & Fight Cancer bands by 10 PM! At that point a few members of #TeamEitel ended up selling their own bands so that those who wanted them could have one! The place stayed packed all night long, we met a lot of great and generous people and can’t be more thankful for how the event went down and turned out.

We will be publishing the total numbers later today once the final count is in.

Thank you to all who attended and again to the fabulous Falloons staff and management for the support and opportunity!

Here are a few gem’s from the weekend:

2013 campaign brings in $5,142.00 for LLS

With the Light the Night walk just a few days behind us it gives me great honor and joy to congratulate everyone who supported and made a generous donation to #TeamEitel. In 2013 we were able to raise $5,142.00 for LLS!

Although I know we are all doing this for a good cause, there are some bragging rights to pass around. #TeamEitel finished #2 of 32 teams on the Top Family and Friends leader-board. If we were a Corporate Team, we would have placed 6th. That is down right impressive! It just goes to show how much love and support the #TeamEitel family truly has and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you!

Below is the history of Team Eitel’s donations since it’s inception. The current total raised for LLS is so ridiculously impressive!

2013 $5,142.00
2012 $5,948.27
2011 $2,015.36
2010 $2,385.90
2009 $1,955.60
TOTAL: $17,447.13
