A Happy #TeamEitel Thanksgiving Miracle

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I get to notify every one of the total raised from the #TeamEitel fundraiser Saturday at @Granfalloons. But before I share the exciting news I have to say something? After totaling all of the donations I was absolutely stunned and was left feeling extremely humbled by the generosity of all of those who were in attendance Saturday night. I tend to expect a great turnout of friends and family and I always look forward to meeting and sharing stories with the new faces that come to learn what #TeamEitel is about. The consistently growing generosity the group continues to demonstrate and the overall good social experiences that we are presented with and take advantage of is truly a blessing. With all of that said, I like to think I put things into perspective and understand the importance of what events and circumstance truly has on their surroundings. I?m aware of the important holidays just around the corner and I know that it can be the priority of many to save what extra cash they have to buy presents for family and friends during the holidays. And while I support that decision entirely I?m floored by the selfless generosity that everyone showed in donating their hard earned money to help support families and individuals, that we may never meet personally, in an effort to make their dream for just one more Thanksgiving or Christmas come true and our shared dream of curing cancer. A quote that comes to mind is ?You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.? ?Malcolm S. Forbes. I cannot be more thankful for my extended #TeamEitel family, what started out as 5, has grown into quite the community with amazing character.

With that said, from the bottom of my heart and with all of my soul I thank you all; as your selfless, loving and charitable donations totaling $1334 will be donated directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of #TeamEitel and will be tracked as part of the 2014 Light the Night Campaign! By donating, just once or many times, a lot or a little, you?ve become a part of the #TeamEitel family. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, because what others have contributed and done before us, similar to we are doing now, is the very reason I was able to spend a few more Thanksgivings and Christmases with my dad after his first diagnosis and I cannot express in words how thankful I am for that.

Thank you, and be safe!
